Birthdays are easy to forget, and hard to get right. Dekar helps people understand how loved ones want to be celebrated and organize gifts, donations, time together, and acts of service.
NEW IN DEKAR
Say it yourself, once.
Until now, what Dekar knew about how you like to be celebrated was whatever the person remembering you had guessed and written down privately. Helpful, and still a guess. Now you can write your own birthday wish — a message or a call, time together, an act of service, a donation to a cause, or no gifts at all — and send it to the people who want to get it right.
They see it marked as coming from you rather than as their own note, and it stays current when you change your mind. Sharing is one private link at a time: each works once, expires after two weeks, and is only ever created by you.
Your birth year is optional and stays private unless you say otherwise. A wish is shown to nobody until you send a link, and clearing it stops any link that has not been opened.
